Default Back-up SHSH blobs without jailbreaking with TinyUmbrella

With the release of iOS 4.1 right around the corner, it's important that all iPhone 4 users as well as iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 3G and iPad users to get their SHSH blogs as quickly as possible before the window of opportunity closes. This is necessary for future jailbreaking and/or unlocking of your device. If you're thinking that you can't get them saved on Cydia because you are not yet jailbroken, then you'll be surprised at what this program will do for you.

    You will need:
    TinyUmbrella

    1. Run the .exe file. It will ask for administrator priviledges.
    2. Connect your device. Once it's been detected by TinyUmbrella, it will be shown in the console. If you have more than one device connected at the same time, there will be a drop-down box for you to choose which device you want to work with.
    3. Click on the "Advanced Options" box to see ECID, Device/Version and Location.
    4. Click on Save My SHSH file. You'll see some processes run through the log until the save is complete. You'll be presented with a link to see the file on your local drive.

Not only will your SHSH blobs be saved locally to your computer, but TinyUmbrella will also send them to Cydia so that when you finally jailbreak, they will already be there.

    Enjoy!

If you didn't get your iOS 4.0 or 3.2 SHSH blobs, it's too late. Apple has stopped signing them. TinyUmbrella has been updated to save your 4.0.1 and 3.2.1 SHSH blobs. The link in post #1 has been updated.

Hi, I want to try something. But I require shsh blobs. I have 2 locked gsm iphone 4s. Both are 16g. Both have the new ios7. One phone I use as my daily. The other I use to mod or at least I try to. LOL. I require shsh blobs for the ios 6.1.3. I know I was informed that the shsh only work for the original phone they were created from. But, as I said I have a few ideas. Can anyone assist?
