    I am looking for a very easy to use file and program transferring software. Are there any recommendations?

    The most popular would probably be Rapidshare although there are many other free alternatives (Megaupload, 4Shared, etc.). Just upload your file and you'll be given a link that you can give to the person you want to download that file. Usually the links die in about 30 days after the last download unless you have a premium account.

    But if you are moving from one computer to another, then you can either do a back up or you can do what is called a "disk image" which is basically a carbon copy of your hard drive with all drivers and settings, etc. You can try Drive-Image or something similar. There are lots of alternatives.

    I use MediaFire as an online storage service, it's free and files stay there until you delete them. So far the best of the bunch for me.
    Bad experience with others when downloading.
    For file transfer between PC's and/or mobile phone I use the OpenSource and free FileZilla, as it works on Windows, Linux and Mac OS.
