    According to PC World, Apple will be launching a smaller 7" iPad in time for the holidays. I actually find this intriguing because the current model seems to be just a little bit large to carry around and be "portable". No info on specs are available as of yet but we can assume it will be similar to the current iPad.

    Manager at Apple arrested for selling trade secrets

    A manager for Apple apparently has been selling secret proprietary information to at least 6 Chinese companies that supply products to Apple. He collected over $1 million from these companies and had the funds deposited into an account in his wife's name.

    Paul Shin Devine was indicted on charges of wire fraud, money laundering and unlawful monetary transactions. Apple also named him in a civil suit that included charges of racketeering.

    I emailed Steve Jobs. I didn't expect much in return. I got more than I expected!

    Let me back up. A couple of weeks ago I switched to the iPhone 4. I was so excited to get my hands on it that I decided to port my number to AT&T and sell my beloved factory-unlocked 3GS. So I got my new phone, and the honeymoon was over quickly. From dropped calls to sporadic service to finally getting the "No SIM Installed" error. I had enough. So I sat down in front of my brand new 15.4" MacBook Pro and composed an email to Mr. Jobs.

    I received my Otterbox Defender case for my new iPhone 4 today. Here are my first impressions and some photos.
    First, the box was semi-crushed. Its not really Otterbox's fault but more FedEx. Its no big deal really. The case comes in a yellow box and includes a belt clip.

    I picked up one of these today from Best Buy. In case you haven't heard of it, its basically a device-specific case that charges your device wirelessly via magnetic induction. Its kinda like the way those fancy toothbrushes or the Palm Pre stone charge a device without actually plugging it it.

    Anyway, until now, Powermat only offered a case and a HUGE mat that was designed to accommodate 3 devices. I found it too large for just my iPhone so I skipped it.
