How to jailbreak iPhone 4S and iPad 2 on 5.0/5.0.1 untethered with Absinthe

This guide will show you how to jailbreak your iPhone 4S or iPad 2 untethered using Absinthe. This can be used whether the device is on iOS 5.0 or 5.0.1.

Download
Absinthe (Win) or Absinthe (Mac)

Step 1
Download and launch Absinthe.



Step 2
Once your device is recognized, click the Jailbreak button to begin.



Step 3
Let the program run its processes for the jailbreak.





Step 4
Once the Absinthe is done, the rest takes place on your device.



Step 5
You should find the Absinthe app on your springboard. Tap it to launch the program.
Once your device reboots, you should have Cydia.
