• Apple releases iOS 4.3 beta with Personal Hotspot, AirPlay video streaming and more

Apple has released the next iteration of the iOS with the 4.3 beta hitting the streets. After seeing the Verizon iPhone come with the Personal Hotspot technology for tethering multiple devices to the iPhone, most users will be happy to see it included in the new beta.

Along with the Personal Hotspot will come AirPlay video streaming and new iPad gestures. What won't come with iOS 4.3 is support for the 3G. It appears that support for it has been officially retired. Adding to the rumors of Facetime support for the iPad, a FaceTime icon has been found for the iPad.

It's free if you've paid the $99 developer fee or if you know a developer that has authorized your device. Otherwise, you can wait for the official version to drop.
