For you NASCAR race fans from the USATODAY.com:

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. Victory in the 50th Daytona 500 turned out to be a team effort but not the team anyone would have expected.

With Joe Gibbs Racing dominating and Hendrick Motorsports faltering Sunday, Penske Racing managed to snatch its first victory in the "Great American Race" and upstage the two teams that had combined to win the last three NASCAR Cup championships.

On the final lap, Ryan Newman capitalized on a critical drafting push from teammate Kurt Busch, swept past Gibbs driver Tony Stewart on the outside of Turn 3 and hung on for his 13th career victory and his first in 81 races dating from September 2005.

"Without Kurt, there was no way possible he was the best teammate ever," said Newman, who described the winning nudge from his teammate's No. 2 Dodge as "the push from heaven."
