Look for this app on cydia, it allows you to change all of your fonts on the iPhone, it comes with a GUI which reminded me of winterboard without the checkmarks

The initial app comes with a font starter pack, however if you add the Xsellize repo source to your cydia...they have a massive font pack consisiting of 83 fonts

due to the way the repo for xsellize is setup you must register at there website as your username and pass are part of each individuals repo

LOL yea, or installer for that matter, get rid of that monstrosity

plus, fontswap is about 100 times free-er than Kate!

I don't even know why RipDev bothers to waste their time with Installer. :D

Fontswap bricked my phone (not permanantly but i had to restore). I didn't hear of anyone else saying this but be warned.

At what point were you bricked? During installation? When changing fonts? More info please!

in the readme page on cydia, theres a line that says not to use fonts that don't come with the application...did you try using a custom font made by you or a separate source?

when changing fonts. when you change the system font the springboard takes a long time to respring, well one time when I did it (with the papyrus font I believe) it just hung and never resprung, so eventually I rebooted the phone and the springboard could not recover. I still use the application but I just change the clock font now lol

It may be an isolated case.

this may be too late now but when that happens you should still have been able to SSH into the phone.

simply rename the papyrus font that you used to change the sytem font to like papyrus1 and then rename another font, maybe default system to papyrus

IMHO, of course it is

If i were you I would just use fonts from cydia and not try to create your own, right now I'm using several fonts from the Xsellize pack i mentioned

yeah I actually did try and ssh in, but it wouldn't let me in for some reason.

well it's hard to say now, but the phone hung for a long time when i switched out the system font it hung for a very long time. there's a chance if i had waited a little longer it would have resprung but I rebooted, no one else has reported a problem, so i would have to say the software is fine
