hey guys

how do i actually edit the registry in windows mobile?

do i need some kind of seperate program?

Yes, you do!

Of course, you should should exercise extreme caution when attempting to edit your Registry!
You could end up with an expensive paperweight ... aka a "brick"!

Once you have installed the program on your phone, you run it from the phone. After editing, you will need to reboot so that the edits will be implemented.

graemeCR, thank you so much! now i have a Q9h with windows mobile 6.1, no crummy telstra branding, and a normal keyboard...unfortunately it still doesnt support WCDMA 2100mhz so its useless to me, but now i can sell it and get an E71.

you guys are all very friendly on here :)
